Sometimes the journalistic striving for objective language may lead to curious results; perhaps that is the underlying cause of this caption on the NY Times site right now: "Planning Seen in Iraqi Attacks on U.S. Copters: Documents captured from insurgents indicate that some of the recent attacks are the result of a strategy to down coalition aircraft."

Really, how revelatory! I would have guessed they were probably ALL the result of a strategy to down coalition aircraft.
