People like Addington make it seem that the United States is just too damn big. It is scary to know that somebody has his head so firmly lodged up his ass and so completely out of touch with the consequences of his own constipated legalistic abstractions, yet he is still that close to the levers of power in this nation of unparalleled influence.

Throw the bums out

How to put this? It would almost be in poor taste for the media to obsess about the minutiae of Democratic strategy going into the next two elections--the 06 mid-terms and the 2008 general election--given the display of ineptitude and lack of substance by the current leadership of both Congress and the Executive.
